About the Doctor
Dr. David Crane was born and raised in Chippewa Falls. He graduated from the University of
Minnesota, School of Dentistry, and took over the dental practice of his grandfather, Dr. Leon Dorland.
He has practiced family dentistry in Chippewa Falls ever since. In 1979 he and his wife Vicky, started
Dental Seminars and Symposia, LLC, an international humanitarian and dental education organization. They have
worked in over nine countries and today continue in Bolivia and Hawaii. Dr. Crane has been active in Rotary for many years and has initiated numerous humanitarian projects in Latin America.
Dr. Crane and his wife Vicky have six children and eleven grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, flying, working outdoors and computer technology.
Dr. Crane's philosophy of practice is to strive for excellence in dentistry using current technology with old fashioned service. He receives over 50 hours of continuing dental education each year.
